Arcturus Therapeutics to Present RNAi Data for Orphan Diseases Utilizing the LUNARTM Technology Platform at BIOCOM’s Global Life Science Partnering Conference

San Diego, Calif., February 24, 2014 – Arcturus Therapeutics, Inc., a leading RNA medicines company pursuing rare diseases, today announced it will present at BIOCOM’s Global Life Science Partnering Conference being held on February 26 and 27, 2014 at the Lodge in Torrey Pines, La Jolla, California. In addition to providing an update on its flagship program targeting transthyretin (TTR)-mediated amyloidosis, Arcturus will present data for its proprietary LUNARTM delivery technology and UNA Chemistry (32 patents, USPTO granted). Functional in vivo delivery data of distinct classes of RNA (small interfering RNA and messenger RNA), a multiple-dose rat toxicology study, and non-human primate data will also be presented. Transthyretin (TTR)-mediated amyloidosis is a genetically mediated fatal disease caused by mutations in the TTR gene.
